I have recently been hired as Associate Faculty with CityU – Edmonton Campus and am excited to begin teaching graduate students in the areas of general psychology, couples counselling, and human sexuality. I bring 15 years of private practice experience to CityU, as well as a specialization in sex therapy as a Certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor from the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). Teaching

I believe teaching is a collaborative journey that bridges professional theory with real-world application. My goal is to create an inclusive, student-centered environment where working adults feel valued and empowered. I use active learning, practical case studies, and open dialogue to connect coursework directly to students’ careers. By respecting diverse backgrounds and encouraging critical thinking, I guide learners to transform knowledge into actionable solutions. Ultimately, my role is to act as a facilitator and mentor, inspiring confidence and lifelong professional growth in every classroom.
