Adjunct Professor

Teaching

My teaching philosophy centers on fostering an inclusive, collaborative learning environment where knowledge is not only shared but actively co-constructed. I believe in the power of peer-to-peer interaction, where students learn from one another’s diverse perspectives, enriching the collective experience. A core element of my approach is “knowledge translation”—ensuring that complex ideas are made accessible and applicable to all, bridging the gap between theory and practice. I also prioritize the idea of “sending the elevator down”—creating opportunities for mentorship and support, helping others rise by sharing the tools and insights that have shaped my own educational opportunities.

Research

From a clinical and research perspective I am interested in relationship(s)/couple dynamics and health, sexual health and the impact of both encouraging/positive and harmful sexual experiences.
