Vanessa has been an instructor with CityU for two years, teaching a variety of courses. She has also supervised CityU students at the multidisciplinary clinic she works at. She is a registered psychologist with certifications in perinatal mental health and EMDR, and is a current PsyD student at Southern California.

Teaching
The goal of teaching is to create a space where others are able to explore the intersection what they already know, their own experiences, and the material being offered. This can be a vulnerable process but has the potential to be very rewarding. The best part of this process is that it happens for students and teachers simultaneously, creating great opportunities for reflection and growth for all.
