Our continuing education courses help participants learn both theory and practical skills that can be applied in day-to-day roles working in the helping professions. With practitioner-led seminars, our instructors bring real-world experience to the learning environment and help participants consider how to implement new strategies and skills into their current working environments.

Refund Policy
Continuing Education Tuition Refund Policy
City University in Canada is committed to providing a fair and transparent refund process for our continuing education students. This policy outlines the conditions and procedures for tuition refunds.
Full Refunds
A full refund of tuition fees will be issued under the following circumstances:
- Course Cancellation: If City University in Canada cancels a course.
- Early Withdrawal: If the student withdraws from the course at least seven business days before the start date.
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued as follows:
- 75% refund if the student withdraws 3-6 business days before the course start date.
- 50% refund if the student withdraws 1-2 business days before the course start date.
No Refunds
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Withdrawal After Course Start: If the student withdraws from the course after it has begun.
- Non-Attendance: If the student fails to attend the course without proper notification.
Refund Process
- Request: To request a refund, students must contact the Continuing Education office by email (Springtruman@cityu.edu ).
- Processing: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
- Timeline: Processing time for refunds typically takes 5-10 business days.
Special Circumstances
In cases of serious illness or exceptional circumstances, students may appeal for special consideration regarding refunds. Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
