Apply Now: Master of Counselling Psychology Virtual

Take the following steps to process your application:

1Complete the CityU official online Application Form.  
Domestic Students
As part of this application, you will need to upload the most recent copy of your resume and pay a non-refundable application fee.
2Submit the required supplemental materials.
You can download all of the necessary forms and then upload them into the document portal for direct submission based upon the geographic location to which you’re applying.

3 Submit your official transcripts documenting a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
We prefer a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 to enter the Master of Counselling program. If this is a concern for you, please speak to our Enrolment Advisor about possible ways we can support you in your educational journey.

Please have your official transcripts sent directly in an envelope(s) sealed by your prior university attended/attending with certified translations where necessary.

City University in Canada accepts electronic transcripts.
Electronic transcripts must be sent from the institution issuing the official transcript directly to City University of Seattle Registrar’s Office via a password-protected link. Simple scanned and email attachments are not acceptable.

4Prepare for your interview.  Candidates who meet the requirements for the MCP program will be contacted to arrange for an interview with the Program Director or other senior faculty member once their application package is complete.

Applications for the Master of Counselling program are accepted and candidates are admitted on a rolling basis.  The program regularly fills up several months in advance of the start date.  We recommend you apply as soon as you can get your application materials together.  We are now accepting applications for the following cohorts:
