Instructor
I currently work full-time as a Client Care Coordinator with Fraser Health. In my position, I oversee a team of amazing therapists, psychiatric nurses, healthcare workers, and admin support staff. I have been with Fraser Health working at multiple different mental health and substance use sites in Surrey for the last 15 years.
In addition to working full-time with Fraser Health, I have a private practice where my area of interest is working with clients living with adult ADHD, relationship struggles, and/or addiction related issues.
I truly enjoy teaching in the Masters of Counselling program at City University of Seattle where I have been fortunate to teach the Clinical Supervision, Counselling Psychology Theory, and Psych of Addiction course.
Teaching
I combine my passion for therapy into my philosophy of being an empathetic instructor. I try my best to understand the journey that each student goes through to achieve their ultimate goal of becoming a therapist. Not only do I enjoy teaching students, but I enjoy learning from students. I am a firm believer in the quote, “when one teaches, two learn”.
