Natashia Bacchus

Associate Faculty

Dr. Natashia Bacchus is a dedicated educator and mental health professional who brings warmth and expertise to her role as associate professor at City University of Seattle in Canada. Since 2018, she has been teaching Level B Assessment, Assessment in Counselling, and supervising Capstone Students. With a PhD in Psychology, Master’s in Education (Counselling), and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) credentials, she seamlessly integrates theory with practical application in her teaching.

Dr. Bacchus owns Spring Back to Wellness, providing clinical assessments and counselling services, which enriches her classroom instruction with real-world insights. Her diverse experience spans school districts, correctional services, and private practice, specializing in trauma-informed approaches, behavioural and mental health assessments, and crisis response. Her expertise in multiple therapeutic modalities allows her to tailor both teaching methods and clinical interventions to meet diverse needs.

When she’s not teaching or working with clients, Dr. Bacchus enjoys the beautiful Okanagan Valley lifestyle in Vernon, BC, where she lives with her husband and their two beloved golden doodles. She takes full advantage of the region’s outdoor recreation opportunities and vibrant community, finding that the work-life balance helps her bring renewed energy and perspective to both her teaching and clinical practice.
