Associate Faculty
I have been teaching at City University in the MEd in School Counselling program since 2018 and in the Masters of Counselling since 2025. I also am in private practice where I focus on supporting children, youth, and families as well as individuals moving through transitions. Previously, I worked for 17 years in lower mainland school district helping to ensure schools are safe and welcoming places for children, youth, and families. I have worked alongside individuals, families, and communities for over 35 years in a variety of settings including not-for-profit community agencies, an alternative measures program, and school districts.
Teaching
I believe in experiential and reflective learning for everyone, including myself. Learning is a shared practice and it is best done with curiosity and openness in a safe and compassionate environment where learners can be brave and vulnerable.
